Have you ever attended a Hero Round Table conference? These events happen all over the world (even in Michigan) and they continue to grow in new locations each year! This particular event, held in California, is the 6th Hero Round Table that HSP has been asked to cover as the official event photographer. Being the Hero Round Table event photographer is such an honor for us because this is a movement that we are proud to be involved with.

What is the Hero Round Table?

If you've never attended or heard of the Hero Round Table, let me give you a quick overview. The Hero Round Table is a conference held annually in different locations throughout the world. At these events, heroic individuals are brought in to share their stories. Ideas are shared on ways to act - instead of finding yourself frozen in the moment.  A community is built with people who want to make a difference. Inspiration is inevitable.

HSP is Proud to Be a Sponsor of the Hero Round Table

Being involved with the Hero Round Table is important to HSP because we want to see a better tomorrow. This is especially true for the kids we photograph on a regular basis at our community schools. Their future matters to us.

Hero Round Table : San Francisco, California

The Hero Round Table in San Francisco was held on April 21st and 22nd at the Marines' Memorial Theater. Two days that were filled with unforgettable speakers such as Edith Eger, Holocaust survivor and psychologist. We also heard from Anthony Sadler,  hero of the French train terror attack and Rudy Corpuz, founder of United Playaz. These were just a few of the people who told their stories, among many other recognizable and noteworthy names.
You Can Be Involved : Here's How

We would love to have you join us at the next Hero Round Table conference held in Brighton, Michigan on October 22nd and 23rd. This conference is a wonderful opportunity to stand beside us in supporting and uplifting our local communities. For more information on The Hero Round Table, visit heroroundtable.com.

See you there!!

One of the hardest parts of ordering portraits is sizing. What size is the best for your space, what size do family members want, and how will they be displayed?

HSP is here to help, during our ordering sessions here at our studio in Fenton Michigan we have a new system that allows you to see your portraits on your homes walls instantly. This takes the guessing work out of hanging portraits and gives an accurate view of the space. All too often we hear.."8x10 that's too big!" Or we don't need a really big one.

Below is an example of an 8x10 hung on a wall, we think you will agree Grandma is going to have a hard time enjoying this portrait!

Wilson attends Fenton High School in Fenton Michigan, he also has spent this school year working with HSP as a part of Senior Project thru the school. All of us at HSP are very proud to have worked with Wilson and wish him all the best in his future.

Last weekend Wilson finally got it together and had a senior session with us! We hit classic downtown Fenton areas and we hope you agree the results are awesome!

This weekend we packed up the truck and took off to see this blue ice that we had been hearing so much about on Facebook. As a photographer I always want to find a different way to photograph what everyone else is pointing a camera at. In this case it didn't matter where I pointed my camera there was beauty all around us.

The kids enjoyed climbing on the ice and seeing how far they could see, while we also took the opportunity to snap a quick family portrait. While we lacked on the pre planning of outfits and colors we made up for in location!

If you have the opportunity to see this rare occurrence it is highly recommended to stay close to the shoreline, the best viewing we found was right downtown Mackinaw City.  Enjoy a few of our photos from this random adventure!
